Summary Long since the development of radar, testing has used the same particular analysis method for certain data parameters. This method of analysis has been so commonly accepted that specifications are written with the analysis method's data output in mind. The analysis method is in reference to the radar's ability to detect an object at a given range. The final results of this method yield a value that fails to be very statistically substantiated. The analysis method does not present any levels of confidence associated with the answer. This report will present a more modern method of data analysis that was discovered and developed decades after radar's detection measurements were first of interest. By this method, statistically significant results will be generated with intervals of confidence. A detailed comparison of both analysis methods will be covered and the additional advantages of the new method will be explored.
