Thesis M.A. California State University, Northridge 2012.
Summary Skeleton Girl is a play about adult survivors of incest. In it, Marta is unexpectedly visited by her sister, Lucy, whom she has not seen in many years. Lucy brings the news that their mother, the last living member of their family, has died. Lucy tries to convince Marta to examine the abuse they suffered at the hands of their father by bringing a set of items that had belonged to him. Despite Marta's best efforts to dispose of the items, they keep reappearing through supernatural means until, finally, the ghost of their father returns and she has no choice but to face him. In the end she learns that the past she had tried to run from will always follow her.
