Felipe worked as a miner in Arizona at the Copper Queen Consolidated Mining Co. Blandina worked for several businesses including the Allied Canning Co. and Sunny Sally Vegetable Growers. The family moved from Mexico to Arizona, finally settling in Los Angeles, California.
